Welcome New Head Coach: Jade Bowins

The Heartbreakers 14U would like to welcome our new head coach Jade Bowins. Jade will be taking over the head coach's duties next year from Jim McLain, as he will be stepping down after the completion of this season.

Jade Bowins played for the Heartbreakers starting at the age of 10 and continued until she made the 18u team as a sophomore. She graduate in 2010 from TJHS, where she was a varsity starter for 4 years as well as a captain her senior year.

Bowins continued her career at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT where she helped take the team to their 2011 NEC-Conference victory, followed by an appearance at the NCAA Regionals. As a 2014 graduate of SHU, Jade was a 4-year starter, as well as, an All-NEC 2nd Team selection. She was also a 2-year captain and recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award.

Her coaching experience includes 10 years of clinics for both SHU, Hood College, and the Heartbreakers, as well as coaching alongside Terry Burdette for 2 season at Hood. Most recently she enjoyed her first season as an assistant coach at Oakdale High School helping them achieve their best season record to date.
